2 Belizean Judokas in Central American Games Managua 2017
JUDO of Central American Games Managua 2017 was held on Dec 7th-9th in the Gimnasio Polideportivo EspaÓa of Managua City.
The athletes showed their best and got new experience for future success, although we could not get a medal.

Juan CARD fought in Male -73kg.
His first match was against REYES, Elvin Daniel (NCA). REYES stood with Migi-Gumi(right stance), but suddenly executed Hidari(left) Ippon-Seoinage and got Ippon over CARD.
His second match was against MONROY, Kevin (GUA). Both MONROY and CARD stood with Migi-gumi (right stance) and tried to have good grips. But MONROY had advantage in experience and CARD could not get good grips. Finally CARD lost by Hansoku-make of 3 passive shidos(penalty).
Renick JAMES fought in Male -100kg.
His first match was against DENHAM, James Robert(PAN). JAMES gave pressure to the opponent, but DENHAM used the pressure to enter his Migi(right) and Hidari(left) Ippon-Seoinage. After few movements, DENHAM threw JAMES by Hidari(left) Ippon-Seoinage.
His second match was against CUNNINGHAM, Jahi(GUA). JAMES tried to give pressure to his tall opponent, but CUNNINGHAM pushed back and tried both sides of Ohsoto-gari. Although JAMES’s O-uchi-gari loosen the opponent’s balance, CUNNINGHAM got Ippon by Hidari(left) Ohsoto-gari.
